Bahar Yıldız Kutman speaks at the Gastromasa Gastronomy Conference

Asst. Prof. Bahar Yıldız Kutman, PI of our lab KutmanLab at the Gebze Technical University (GTÜ) Institute of Biotechnology, took part in the IX International Gastromasa Gastronomy Conference & Exhibition, held at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul on November 13-14, 2024.

As part of the event, she joined a workshop organized with Barilla, where she held a conversation on university and industry collaboration with Claudio Chinali, chef of Eataly Istanbul and an expert in Italian cuisine. She gave examples of the joint work between Mavruz, the supplier of the Eataly restaurant, and the GTÜ Institute of Biotechnology.

She also described the work carried out at the Dr. İbrahim Bodur Sustainable and Traceable Agriculture Testing and Analysis Laboratory, which was established within the GTÜ Institute of Biotechnology with the contributions of Kale Group and the Kaleseramik Education, Health and Social Assistance Foundation (KSV). In addition, she told the audience about the tomato production at Mavruz and the research activities connected to it.
